Using the platform

You are responsible for your account, content, listings, streams, and communications. Do not impersonate others, evade security controls, automate abusive activity, distribute malware, infringe intellectual property, harass people, or publish illegal, deceptive, exploitative, or dangerous content.

Marketplace transactions and fees

LukesLists provides marketplace tools but is not the owner, inspector, veterinarian, transporter, or guarantor of member listings. Buyers and sellers must verify identity, ownership, condition, claims, licensing, delivery, and applicable law.

Online item payments use Stripe Connect. Each seller onboards a connected Stripe account and receives payouts from Stripe. For fixed-price sales, free sellers pay a fixed $5 LukesLists application fee and active Seller Pro sellers pay no LukesLists application fee. Free-seller fixed-price checkout has a $6 minimum. Auction sales include a $5 auction fee plus 3% for standard sellers or 2.5% for active Seller Pro sellers. The exact seller fee is disclosed before publication and recorded with the order. Stripe processing, currency conversion, payout, refund, dispute, tax, or other provider fees can still apply and are separate. The separate $30 Seller Pro membership does not pay for an item.

Auctions and automatic winner payment

Auctions may be created in any marketplace category. Before bidding, a member must maintain a 100% LukesLists Trust profile, securely establish a Stripe payment method for that seller, and expressly authorize an automatic off-session charge if the bid wins and any reserve is met. LukesLists stores Stripe identifiers and limited card-display details, not the full card number or security code.

Every submitted bid is binding. The confirmed bid amount can be charged automatically when the auction ends. A bank can still decline or require additional authentication. Winners receive a limited payment-recovery period when intervention is required. An unpaid win can create an account strike, temporarily restrict auction access, and allow the item to be offered to the next eligible bidder. Bids in the final two minutes extend the ending time. LukesLists may cancel bids or auctions affected by fraud, technical error, prohibited goods, manipulation, or rule violations.

Shipping tracking, pickup confirmation codes, buyer receipt confirmation, evidence, and problem reports help document fulfillment but do not make LukesLists an escrow service or guarantee the listing, seller, buyer, payment, delivery, refund, or dispute outcome.

Animals and livestock

Animal listings must prioritize welfare and comply with local, state, and federal requirements. Sellers must provide honest breed, age, health, temperament, registration, and rehoming information when applicable. LukesLists prohibits animal fighting, cruelty, trafficking, and listings involving endangered or threatened species or prohibited wildlife. Reasonable veterinary, ownership, registration, breeding, or transfer proof may be requested.

Moderation, trust scores, and verification

LukesLists may automatically screen content and may hold, limit, remove, or request proof for suspicious posts, listings, accounts, images, or activity. Members can report concerns. Administrative decisions may consider reports, repeated listings, payment pressure, ownership concerns, animal-welfare risks, spam patterns, and applicable platform rules.

The optional LukesLists Trust Score reflects disclosed platform activity such as profile completeness, account history, media, approved listings, and person verification. The Person Verified badge confirms only that authorized staff accepted the submitted liveness evidence. Scores and badges are not background checks, ownership guarantees, warranties, or endorsements. Members must still inspect, verify, and transact carefully.

Free-Play Arcade

Arcade Points are free promotional entertainment credits with no monetary value. They are separate from LukeLists Tokens and cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, redeemed, withdrawn, converted, or exchanged for money, cryptocurrency, marketplace credit, goods, services, or prizes. Arcade games are for entertainment only and do not involve real-money gambling.

Advertising and featured placement

Clearly labeled advertising may appear on public content pages. Organic feed and marketplace results remain chronological. Seller Pro may place a clearly labeled featured listing before organic results within its category. Do not click your own ads, encourage others to click ads, disguise ads as navigation, or manipulate impressions. Advertising availability and earnings are controlled by the advertising provider and are not guaranteed.

Availability and changes

LukesLists may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain safety, security, legal compliance, or service reliability. The service is provided without a guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free. These terms may be updated as the platform changes.
